Yesterday our learners and residents celebrated St David's Day in style with a communal lunch of cawl with cheese followed by Welsh cakes.
Afterwards they held an Eisteddfod, with each house and working group showing just how talented they are with their Welsh themed stage shows.
Staff, learners and residents took the opportunity to dress up in anything Welsh, and there were a lot of flags and rugby shirts on show.
The main event was the Eistedddfod with some wonderful performances including a rendition of Calon Lan, an enactment of the Lady in the Lake and the origination of the doctors of Myddfai, and Tommy took the mike and recited every railway station in sequence on the Heart of Wales Line from memory.
Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the food, the entertainment and the community spirit!
