On Saturday 14 June we are opening our 180-acre site to the public to join residents, friends, family and staff for a huge Summer Fayre.
A family-friendly afternoon out with free entry, ample parking, craft, cake and animal encounters
The young adults that live at Elidyr Communities spend each day living and learning new skills. The Summer Fayre will give everyone the chance to have a go at some of the activities that are part of everyday life onsite. For example, woodwork, weaving, soap making and mosaics. Plus, you get to meet bunnies and guinea pigs and feed the donkeys!
In the hall there will be stalls selling cakes, cream teas and crafts and outside they’ll be games and the chance to take part in bushcraft sessions. The Llandovery Male Voice Choir will also be performing.

If you’ve wondered what life is like at Elidyr Communities, this is your chance to find out for yourself
We have been one of the area’s largest employers for half a century. Our site has 8 houses, a state-of-the-art education hub, a gym (which staff use for free) a shop, smallholding and modern craft workshops. As well as being a great day out, the Summer Fayre is an excellent opportunity for anyone local who is looking for a job to come and check out the organisation. There will be plenty of staff on hand to chat to about current vacancies.
