01550 760400Founded in 1981, Victoria House is set up to accommodate people with mild learning difficulties aged 18 - 64. All residents are encouraged to live their lives as independently as possible. This family-feel accommodation, with its own house manager, is located in Llangadog where carers and residents share household responsibilities, social activities and mealtimes. Friends & Family of Victoria House, a small association of supporters, also help to make the house a happy, healthy place to be.

A thriving village location means that residents have easy access to shops, cafes and pubs. Good public transport links allow people to strive for independent access to neighbouring towns and cities.
A Cottage Industry
Close to Victoria House is our weavery.
Our weaving is facilitated by a skilled tutor and residents have produced some beautiful creations over the years. All products are exhibited and sold in craft shops, markets and galleries. The quality and reputation of the work from the weavery has resulted in commissions from all over the world.

Activities are organised to encourage people to follow individual interests in addition to some group activities. People have a sense of purpose with some employment experience and feel a part of their local community. The staff team support people to live their lives to the full.
