01550 760400We have recently invested in building a fundraising team to move Elidyr Communities Trust to being an actively fundraising charity. We have benefited from tremendous support from our Parent’s Association, who continue to be fantastic, active fundraisers. But we know that we need to do more.
Our funding from local authorities is not enough to do what we need to do. Fundraising will bring us, new buildings, better facilities, cutting-edge equipment and the flexibility to spend money on essential core costs.
There is lots going on and this is just the start. We thought we would highlight some of the ways you can get involved and support the charity as we continue to grow.
Festive Appeal
We’ve launched a festive appeal to raise money to support musical experiences. An appeal is a campaign that runs over a fixed period of time on a theme. Between now and the end of the year we will be regularly posting about music-related activities. We have a draft content schedule and we would LOVE your musical ideas. Lottery
We now have a lottery! This is a fun and easy way to support Elidyr. It costs just £1 for a weekly entry. Taking part gives you the chance to win cash prizes each week. Every Saturday, a winning number is drawn at random. There is a £25,000 weekly jackpot prize. Plus, one of our players will win a guaranteed cash prize every week. Read more on our lottery.
Easyfundraising
Did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising free donations for Elidyr Communities Trust with easyfundraising? Fundraising Events
We are planning specific community fundraising events for next year. These include a virtual balloon race and a 5K colour run at Llandovery RFC. The wheels are already in motion for these events and we hope that lots of people will get involved. They will be fun events with the benefit of helping us raise funds. Be a Fundraiser
There are also plenty of challenges supporters can take on to raise money for Elidyr Communities Trust. We’ve lined a few up for people to consider, these include climbing mountains, jumping out of planes and bog snorkelling … it’s an eclectic list! Read more about how to be a fundraiser.
